Entrevista

I get a lot of clients who read my interview and hire me because they've had similar experiences with their families regarding acceptance and religion.
Most of my clients are either still married, curious, or have never even had an experience with another man.
When we meet, they ask questions about what it was like growing up in the Bible Belt, or how I managed to tell my fiancé I was gay, and somehow my responses help them to further understand or accept who they are.
As cliché as that sounds, that is exactly why I still do this, and what I consider to be my niche.. Or at least my calling.
We all deserve to believe that there is nothing wrong with being exactly who we are on the inside.
We all deserve to feel love at some point in our lives, and too many people miss out on that for fear of how it would affect those around them.
So I guess what I am saying is this: I wish there was a niche for helping curious guys discover themselves.
Especially now, thanks to free speech and the magic of the internet. It's easier now than ever to share our experiences and give each other advice so we can all enjoy our time on this planet - without fear of being exactly who we are inside.
Sincere authenticity. Believe that or not, I dont care. There are too few genuinely good-hearted people in this world, and I am out to change that. I've been told a good person would never refer to themselves as such. They told me that they try to be a good person, but sometimes they have their bad days. In my opinion, you dont have to try to be a good person. You either are, or you're not. It's about how you think, not how you behave. It's about how you react, not how you act.
Literally speaking, being adopted was probably the best thing I've had happen because it led to so many more wonderful things that I would not have gotten to experience otherwise. However, if we're going for things that I actually remember happening, I'd say college. Graduation day was the best day ever for me. I put myself through college 100% without the help of any family member, so I am still proud of myself for accomplishing that.
  • ¿Qué haces para divertirte?
A lot of these questions are very similar in nature. Regardless, I like taking my dog to the park. Gives me a chance to take pics of other peoples pets. Sometimes on windy days, you'll catch me in the middle of Piedmont park with a kite in the sky. Thats a guilty pleasure of mine. Simple, I know.
  • ¿Cuáles son tus pasatiempos e intereses?
In real life, I'm actually a professional photographer with a Masters degree. But for about two years now, I've tapped into my creative side and have been obsessed with acrylic painting. I love to paint. You can actually buy my art on Redbubble by searching "Redfoxpros" ---just saying.
I like to think of myself as like... the chillest, most reasonable, agreeable person I can possibly be. I don't get easily aggravated, I'm not judgmental, I'm not a picky eater, I don't care about expensive brands and things...If you're in my apartment and you want to turn off the fan, turn that bitch off! Life is way too short to spend it stressing out on stuff that isn't gonna matter at all once you're dead. I spend my time putting as much positive energy into the world as I can, in hope that it makes a difference to someone, somwehere, someday. That's all you can do.
  • ¿Qué tipo de dieta y rutina de ejercicios sigues?
I don’t really follow one. I just eat right and walk my dog a lot.
That I’m not fake. Attractive people are generally the most self-centered, arrogant, and pretentious people ever. All my life people have based their opinion of me on how I look, assuming that because I was such a nice guy, I must be hiding something, or that I expected something from them. A lot of people think if you are good-looking or if you take care of yourself, that you must have had it easy all your life. Well, I am a firm believer in earning what you recieve, paying your debts, and giving credit where credit is due. I am very thankful for the people who have been miracles in my life and those people know who they are. A huge flaw of mine is that I wish I could say I didn’t care what people thought of me, but I always have and probably always will. Because at the end of the day, what people think of you is actually very closely tied to what opportunities and experiences you will have in life.
  • ¿Cuál dirías son tus mayores atributos?
I’m a very talented performer. I can dance, sing, and act better than most people who make a living out of it. I don’t think that’s conceited to verbalize, since I never really pursued it as a career. Being famous seems like more trouble than it’s worth.
Depends. Is this our first date? Well, regardless, I’m an open book. I’m not the type to sit there and drone on and on about myself. I usually sit and listen to the other person and respond when prompted. I’ll respond to your questions honestly, and I won't make up a bunch of bullshit to sound more interesting than I am. I’m usually much more interested in the other person. For the most part, I had a very simple, Southern-fried upbringing. I spent the majority of my teenage years on a farm in a microscopic town where I was raised by very religious parents. The rest is history.
  • ¿Qué “esfuerzo adicional” haces en tu vida?
I unconditionally love everyone. Even people who have done terrible things to me, I can still say that I have love in my heart for them. Not for any religious reasons, but only because we are all human. We are all here under the same sky and all of us deserve to know what love feels like before we pass away. So if you don’t feel loved, come find me, LOL. We’ll fix that.
  • ¿Con qué frecuencia viajas? ¿Prefieres viajar o eres una persona hogareña?
I love to travel, but I have never been out of the country. Hopefully in the near future I will have the opportunity to do more of it.
I don't hold any grudges. I am a product of my upbringing, and although I may not currently be the most self-assured person in the world, I know that my parents' opinions were based on how they were raised and that it isn't their fault. They are just stuck in their ways. Luckily, as of last year, we are somewhat back in touch; we just agree to disagree on the "whole queer thing".
On a side note, the only time you can actually hear my southern drawl is when I'm on the phone with them.

Also: i have a blog if you want to read even more about me. You can also check out my art. (Yeah, i paint)
Hopefully they wont bleep this out: MOC.TROCSENREDOM (its backwards)
I was adopted at birth and raised in an extremely small Mississippi town (pop. 1200) by very devout Catholic parents. I used to lay awake at night begging God to make the evil thoughts disappear, but God hated me. I had nightmares about hell. I spent many years in the closet, fearing death and the wrath of God.
At 17, some photos were found under my mattress. It didn't go well. I was told they picked the wrong kid from the hospital, and to a 17 yr old, that was unforgivable. I left my family and the church behind, and that was it. I finally started experimenting with homosexuality in college, but didn't really find acceptance within myself until I graduated and moved across the country to a more liberal Chicago in 2015.
I understand how difficult it is to be gay and having to hide who you are. I was in the closet for most of my young adult life. I could have easily knocked a girl up, married her, and worked on the farms until i died. I am very glad I didn't, but I know many of you reading this have had similar experiences. Possibly still dealing with decades of hiding the truth from a wife and kids. Be strong, guys. I'm here if you need to talk.
  • ¿Qué es lo que más te gusta de ti?
My handwriting. It's terrible that they don't teach cursive in schools anymore.
